public class SQLCascadingColumn

extends PAbstractCascadingColumn

Provides a cascading column based on an SQL statement. This is make it easy to create cascading colums for navigating a database. The actual sql statement executed by this panel may be different depending on the values in the previous colums. The SQL statement passed to this constructor should select the values which will be displayed. Any dependencies on other columns can be specified in the "where" clause using the token "%%a%%" where "a" is the column number.

For example. Let's say you want column 1 to retrieve the "login_date" field of table "t" of every record where the "login_name" field of that record is the value highlighted in colum 0. The sql would be:

select login_date from t where login_name='%%0%%'.

This class will automatically replace %%0%% with the value highlighted in column 0.
